Pictures from around the house.....

Our view of the recent storm- the giant one we had
last week. It came all the way from Japan, traveled
miles and miles and miles across the Ocean, and poured
its fury on our California coast.

Even tho it was partially detrimental- I ALWAYS
LOVE LOVE LOVE a good storm!!

Our wet backyard.

Chicken Paprikash cooking in the pan. This recipe
is so easy....I cut up some onion and garlic, sauteed them
in coconut oil (that is the oil I'm using now but you could
do it in olive), cut up chunks of chicken (actually this is
turkey!) and sautee, throw in the red bellpeppers (2) with
LOTS of paprika, a bay leaf, some water and simmer for
about 45 minutes.

While the turkey was simmering, I boiled the home-made
noodles (just flour, 1 egg, salt and a little water)- they are
sooooo tasty!!

What it all looks like after I add the sour cream and
flour......it looks better when it is dumped on top of
the noodles....mmmm- this was for Rob because
he had to work all day in the rain and because he and
the kids helped me clean the house because my back
was really bad!

I will soon open up my Etsy store!! These are a
few of the little creatures I will be selling!!
