Saila looked so cute on the morning of St. Patricks day
that I had to take a picture of her! I put green yarn in
her pony tails! She also has on her new shoes!

Yes, this is corned beef boiling in the pot. Just the meat,
onion, garlic, and peppercorns- that's it!

The butcher at the little market I go to told me to boil the
meat for about 3 hours, take it out and cover it with a
mustard and brown sugar sauce (that Saila made!) and stick
it in the oven at 300 degrees for however long it takes
the vegetables to cook (about 1/2 an hour). Mmmm!!

While all of this was cooking, I went outside in the backyard
and couldn't help but take some pictures of our
GORGEOUS pear tree's blossoms! The bees were buzzing
and the blossoms smelled heavenly!

Saila and her bugs- I let her collect rolly pollies cuz
they eat baby roots and are harmful to gardens...
