At Saila's school, they had a dinner for all the Mothers and Daughters. It was called "Mardi Gras Madness" and we had dinner and some games. Grandma came along too, she's MY mom and I'm HER daughter!!
We designed our own masks- ooops! Saila's holding hers backwards!
For Linda Day, I wanted to work in the garden and have the kids and Rob help me get it ready for Spring. BUT it rained all day! Bummer, but we went to Home Depot anyways and we bought dirt, fertilizer and other things for the garden, yay!!
Fill that cart with dirt, awe yeah!
Then we went to El Torito's (by the Bay) to eat. I just REALLY looked at this picture......Saila looks super mischievous!! Ah, how cute! They play like Pugsley and Wednesday Adams!
Friday the Kindergarten kids at Saila's school celebrated Chinese New Year by making dragon puppets and going from class to class thru out the school chanting "Gung hay fat choy!"
Here is Saila's Kindergarten class!
All the kids are sooo sweet!! Her teacher is the same teacher that Johnny had in Kindergarten! I think it's so cute because she says "bum" instead of "butt" or "booty" because her teacher is from Scotland!
Then we all went walking at the hill with Teresa and Maggie, and Sadie too!!
You can see San Francisco waaaaay off in the distance! I LOVE days like this- dark and cloudy!
Home.
Saila found a mushroom!
My Pretty and My Angel
Back at home, the sunset was just so gorgeous!!
The plum blossoms make the tree look like it is covered in snow!
This was taken today! Look how TALL my 11 year old and my 5 year old are to their grandma!!
Every day I go for walks and sometimes I go to the Hill and sometimes I go walking thru the street hills. Lately, everyone's yards are blooming with all kinds of gorgeous flowers! Today Judy and me went for a walk thru the neighborhood, after a delicious Indian buffet lunch! Yum!!
These daffodils are lighter and more ruffly than the other ones I see!
A tree in full blossom! The petals fall and look just like snow!
Here are what the blossoms look like really close up!
Belladonna! I LOVE those shiny black berries, they are gorgeous!
So cute daffodils!
These spines were SHARP- check out the length!
The walk ended with meeting Saila at the bus stop....She loves taking the bus! Her bus drivers name is Johnny!
