Some Pictures of Saturday the 29th...

Saila in the setting sun- these shorts are waaaay
too big for her, but when she gets her mind to wearing
something.....

Rob was barbecuing out back and Shadow
smelled the meat!

The beautiful spider that lives in my tomatoes!

This sunflower is bigger than your head!!

The beautiful paint job on the deck!

Rob with the sunflower

Shadow in the "grass"- I hope our lawn comes back
to life when the rains come!

Johnny doing his favorite thing

My sweetheart!

View from the downstairs window

Our surprise pumpkin plants! These are the
teeny tiny ones that go on the table for decoration.

Our messy but cozy living room.

The crazy kitchen! It needs to be something
other than white!

My pet plants (don't ask me how many I own!).

Yay for a man who likes to cook!

Our crazy, crazy frige!

This day was HOT and I HAD to braid her hair
and mine!! She is SO pretty!!

More pet plants!

The sun going doooooown.....

I LOVE owls!! These three like to just hang out
by the kitchen sink!

My other owl with some funky candles

The owl is straight but the picture is crooked! This
owl hung in my Grandparents house for years! My
Grandpa liked it so much he made a frame for it- it's all
string art. As I said, "I LOVE owls too, Grandpa!!"

A view of the things above our bed....

The kids closet looks like this! As I said, I was just
taking random shots. It's good to capture things the
way they look now because things are always
changing!

Saila School Work

This is just a beautiful example of a piece of work
that Saila did today in her Kindergarten class. She said
she was sad that it was her "last day." I told her that
she would go again, after two days break, on Monday.
She said "I know, but I'll still miss it!"
I LOVE her coloring job!! She just looked at this and
said "Yeah, but I didn't color the letters." It's ok, Saila!
It's a beautiful job!

Saila's FIRST day of School and Johnny's Second !

WOW!! It's hard to believe! Here is Saila on her fist
day of school (with part of her breakfast in her hand),
first day of Kindergarten! Wow!!

Here they both are, posing in the front yard. This
was Johnny second day of MIDDLE SCHOOL!! I
can't BELIEVE that my babies are this big!!

You can see the resemblance here- I LOVE THEM!!

Robbie took this day off because it was my Birthday
and luckily it was her first day of school too! He
got to be Dad with the Video Camera, hahaha!

Me and my boy (forgive the no make-up, first thing
in the morning look on me!)

Papa's 75th Birthday

The Birthday cake....A is for Alberto (mi Papa), L is for
me because my Birthday is the 25th, and ML is for Marylou
because her birthday was August 3rd.

Papa making his Birthday speech (the little girls
couldn't wait to have a piece!!)

My dad is the sweetest man.....this is him telling all of us that
the best gift he ever received was My Mother. He also
told all the men to love and appreciate their women. I mean,
after all- We Take Care Of Everything!! (ok, mostly)

This was also their 36th anniversary and they
are still inlove- if not more...

Robbie and Elena (my niece)

Cleopatra (Cleo)

Can you see she's smiling? Can you see she
loves me?

Sometimes she feels like doing a little Sudoku and
sometimes she doesn't.

Little kitty, little paw!

My Cleo is a perma-kitty. She will always be small
and delicate because she was a runt. Her Daddy was a
one-eyed orange striped tom and her mom was sleek
and beautiful black with a long, long tail. They were
alley cats, all the way!!
