Loulou's Birthday!!

We ended up going to Loulou's house for her Birthday.
Phoebe was sleeping on some of her crocheted hats and it
looked so cute, I HAD to take a picture!

He didn't really like the flash!

Stephanie and Jake!
(Your boy is getting soooo big!!)

Johnny and Loulou, yes he is that tall!!

Jake was being silly and sunk into Loulou and Paul's
couch cusions!

Hmmm, I should put on a little more make-up
when I go out!!

Girls night out!! Wooohooo!!

Johnny, my sweetie

Saila's 5th Birthday Party (at the Park with her friends)

Ok, so I make pinata's for my kids every year. Whatever
they want, I customize it. This year Saila wanted a "crown."
Next time I will take more pictures of the process but we used
an old steel rimmed drum head for the base and built it
up using cereal boxes. We decided to spray paint it and here is
Johnny primering the crown.

At first we were going to paint it pink but then Saila
changed her mind to gold and look how COOL it turned
out! Johnny's such an awesome big bro!

The finished pinata is only in the pictures of the kids
wacking it and I wish I would've taken a better shot! I glued
jewels and sequins on it with glitter glue.

All the kids waiting in line. Can you believe that EVERY
kid got a turn (except Steph's boy Jake who is 16- a 13 year
old finally killed it). I make my pinatas indestructible!!

Saila's turn!

Corrine's turn!

Sofia's turn!

Rocco's turn!

I also should've taken a picture of the inside of the cake!
Saila wanted blue cake with pink frosting and strawberries
in the middle. I butter creamed the middle and sliced up
the strawberries really fine and then added another layer
of butter cream. Food coloring rocks!!

Making her wish!

Blowing the candles out!

Desi, Tata, and me

The next day we gave Shadow EXTRA love cuz he didn't
get to come to the party- it was at a park that didn't
allow doggies.

Saila diving in to her presents!

Saila girl....

Ok, this is THE COOLEST THING!! See, in our house, we
like Spiders. It is bad luck to kill a spider and we always
put them outside. Also, when we kill flies with the flyswater,
we feed them to the spiders outside. Well, Saila put this
leaf in this piece of pantyhose (from when we tried on shoes)
and put in on the window sill outside and told me, "This is
a house for a spider." She was all excited and checked every
day. Sure enough!! Two days later this spider moved in
and she/he is STILL there, right now!

Two sleepy heads!! Didn't do anything particularly
special the night before, they just like to sleep!

I thot this was so cute, I HAD to get my camera out!
In this shot I stood over them on the bed and they
STILL kept on sleeping!

They really look alike in this picture!

Poem by Johnny Keohan

This is a poem that Johnny's teacher helped him write when
he was is 1st grade. I think it's adorable and it's hanging
up on the wall in our living room. I just thot I'd share it with
all of you.....(I LOVE this!!)

I Am
By Johnny Keohan

I am an artist and a big brother.
I wonder about what is inside me.
I hear cars around my house.
I see my dog every day.
I want a boa constrictor.
I am an artist and a big brother.

I pretend to be a dog.
I feel rain in the air.
I touch my dog.
I worry about my baby sister because something could happen to her.
I cry when I get a shot.
I am an artist and a big brother.

I understand my math.
I say that everyone should brush their teeth.
I dream that I can be a bug scientist.
I try to be a good basketball player.
I hope that I will live a long life.
I am an artist and a big brother.
