fundraiser event called Vegas in the Valley. My darling
sister Marylou and her man Paul watched the kids for us
OVER NIGHT!! Yay!! We got to party AND sleep in!
Woohoo! They kept them Saturday night and Sunday
was Johnny Day but they were at the beach all day-
exploring tide pools and finding hermit crabs and starfish.
So, since I wasn't with Johnny on Johnny Day, I let him
stay home today (Monday- shhhhh!) and let him do WHATEVER
he wanted to do and the following pictures are our day.
(Ofcourse he still had to do his homework, read, and help me
walk the dogs, but he's so good, he was ok with all of that!)
play his heart out on the video games, Saila wasn't bored!
She is always happeeeeeee!!
of my house plants and a couple of my paintings.
It was a pretty good day and I don't feel too bad
for letting Johnny miss one day of school. It's like
Ferris Bueller said "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't
stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it."
While I know Johnny wasn't really "looking around," we
still got to spend the day together and that's worth
it to me!
